◎The Gravity Jig Concentrator is an efficient and eco-friendly gravity separation machine designed to separate valuable minerals from gangue according to differences in specific gravity. Using hydraulic stratification in a pulsating water bed, it achieves effective mineral separation without expensive or hazardous chemical reagents.

◎The mineral jig can process both coarse and fine particles and is widely used for alluvial and placer gold recovery, as well as the beneficiation of iron ore, manganese, tin, tungsten, barite, and other heavy minerals. It can also be integrated into crushing, screening, and grinding circuits.

◎During operation, controlled water pulsation repeatedly expands and contracts the material bed. Heavier mineral particles concentrate toward the bottom, while lighter gangue moves upward and is discharged, providing stable separation and high recovery efficiency.

◎With high processing capacity, low water consumption, simple operation, and low operating costs, the gravity jig concentrator offers a reliable and environmentally friendly solution for gold recovery and heavy mineral beneficiation.

How It Works: The Gravity Separation & Stratification Process

The Jig Concentrator separates valuable minerals from gangue according to differences in specific gravity through a continuous three-stage process. Hydraulic pulsation creates repeated water movement, allowing heavy minerals to settle while lighter gangue is removed.

◎1. Feed & Hydraulic Pulsation
Pre-classified mineral slurry enters the jig chamber from the crushing and screening circuit. A hydraulic system generates vertical water pulsations, creating alternating upward and downward flows that loosen and suspend the material bed.

◎2. Density-Based Stratification
During the upward flow, the bed expands and particles become suspended. During the downward flow, heavier minerals such as gold settle rapidly toward the bottom, while lighter gangue remains in the upper layer.

◎3. Continuous Discharge & Separation
Heavy mineral concentrate accumulated at the bottom is continuously discharged through the screen or discharge valve. Meanwhile, lighter tailings are carried away by cross-flowing water, achieving efficient gravity concentration and stable separation.

This chemical-free jigging process provides high recovery, reliable operation, and low operating costs, making it suitable for gold recovery and heavy mineral beneficiation.
