MTM European Grinding Mill: Product Description

◎MTM European grinding mill is a medium speed trapezium mill built for large-scale mineral plants. It takes pre-crushed rock up to 35 mm and grinds it to powder from 1.6 mm down to 0.045 mm. Three models cover the range: MTM100 at 3 to 8 tons per hour, MTM130 at 6 to 11 and MTM160 at 9 to 55.

◎Three design features set the MTM mill apart. An integral bevel gear drive links gear and main shaft into one unit, so power reaches the rollers with fewer parts. An internal thin oil lubrication system feeds the bearings and gearbox on a closed loop, filtering and cooling the oil. An arc-shaped air duct replaces the square duct, so air turns smoothly to the classifier and pressure loss falls.

◎A full line runs around the mill: jaw crusher, elevator, vibrating feeder, main mill, classifier, fan, cyclone collector and dust collector. The fan lifts air induction to about 85% and carries the powder to the classifier. Coarse particles return for regrinding and fine powder leaves the cyclone. The line runs closed, so dust stays inside the system.

◎It grinds limestone, calcite, dolomite, gypsum, barite, marble, talc, petroleum coke and coal powder, with Mohs hardness under 9.3 and moisture under 6%. Send your material, feed size and target mesh for a matched model and quotation.

MTM European Grinding Mill

Integral Bevel Gear Drive

The bevel gear and main shaft form one drive unit. Power reaches the rollers with fewer parts, so vibration and noise drop.

MTM European Grinding Mill

Internal Thin Oil System

Thin oil lubrication runs inside the mill and feeds the bearings and gearbox. The oil is filtered and cooled, so greasing drops.

MTM European Grinding Mill

Arc-Shaped Air Duct Design

The air duct is arc-shaped. Air turns smoothly to the classifier, so pressure loss falls and powder does not build up.

MTM European Grinding Mill

High-Efficiency Impeller Fan

The high-efficiency impeller fan lifts air induction from about 62% to 85%, so more air reaches the classifier.

Three Models, 3 to 55 t/h

MTM100, MTM130 and MTM160 cover 3 to 8, 6 to 11 and 9 to 55 tons per hour. Final fineness runs from 1.6 mm down to 0.045 mm.

MTM European Grinding Mill: 3 Reasons to Choose

Buyers compare drive design, lubrication, dust control and output when they choose a European grinding mill. Here is what sets the MTM mill apart.

◎Built for Large Mineral Plants

Three MTM models cover 3 to 55 tons per hour, so one mill feeds a large mineral plant. Feed size runs up to 35 mm and final fineness from 1.6 mm down to 0.045 mm. The line takes limestone, calcite, dolomite, gypsum, barite, marble, talc and petroleum coke.

◎Less Downtime, Less Manual Work

The integral bevel gear drive removes the belt and its adjustment. The internal thin oil system filters and cools oil on a closed loop, so daily greasing drops. Fewer upkeep tasks mean more running hours on site.

◎Lower Air Drag, Cleaner Plant

The arc-shaped air duct cuts pressure loss on the way to the classifier, and the impeller fan lifts air induction to about 85%. The line runs closed, with a cyclone collector and a dust collector, so dust stays inside the system.

How the MTM European Grinding Mill Works

◎Feed rock enters a jaw crusher first and is reduced to under 35 mm. An elevator lifts the crushed material to the storage hopper, and a vibrating feeder sends it into the grinding chamber at a steady rate. Inside the mill, a shovel blade lifts the material onto the trapezium working surface between the rollers and the grinding ring. The rollers turn with the main shaft, and the shaft is driven by the integral bevel gear.

◎Roller pressure presses the material against the ring, and the material is crushed and ground into fine powder. An impeller fan pulls air through the arc-shaped air duct and up through the mill body. The air stream carries the powder to the classifier on top of the mill. The classifier spins and separates particles by size. Coarse particles fall back into the grinding chamber and are reground.

◎Fine powder travels with the air into the cyclone collector. The powder drops to the bottom of the cyclone and leaves through the discharge valve as finished product. Remaining fine dust goes to the dust collector, where filter bags trap it, and clean air is released. The whole line runs closed, so dust stays inside the system. The classifier sets the final fineness, from 1.6 mm down to 0.045 mm, and down to 0.038 mm on fine grades.

◎The main shaft and the gearbox run on the internal thin oil lubrication system, which filters and cools the oil while the mill works. When output drops, adjust roller pressure and check roller and ring wear.

Common Problems

This section is designed to address the most pressing inquiries customers may have regarding the daily operation, maintenance, product advantages, and after-sales service of our machine. Our aim is to help you gain a comprehensive understanding of our overall capabilities and enable you to make informed decisions for your projects.

It grinds limestone, calcite, dolomite, gypsum, barite, marble, talc, petroleum coke and coal powder. Mohs hardness should stay under 9.3 and moisture under 6%. It suits large-scale mineral plants that need steady powder output all year.

Three models cover different ranges. MTM100 runs 3 to 8 tons per hour, MTM130 runs 6 to 11, and MTM160 runs 9 to 55. Output depends on material, feed size and target fineness. Send your material and mesh for a matched model.

Final fineness runs from 1.6 mm down to 0.045 mm, about 80 to 325 mesh. Fine grades can reach 0.038 mm. You set the grade on the classifier, so one mill covers several powder specifications without new equipment.

Max feed size is 25 mm for MTM100, 30 mm for MTM130 and 35 mm for MTM160. Larger rock goes through a jaw crusher first, and the line includes one. An elevator then lifts the crushed material to the feed hopper.

An MTM European grinding mill uses a trapezium working surface and an integral bevel gear drive. It adds an internal thin oil lubrication system and an arc-shaped air duct. Those changes cut vibration, manual greasing and pressure loss, and lift output for large plants.

Integral bevel gear transmission, an internal thin oil lubrication system and an arc-shaped air duct. The bevel gear drive is compact and runs with less vibration. The thin oil system cuts daily greasing. The arc duct lowers air resistance.

Daily checks cover oil level and oil temperature, roller and ring wear, the classifier setting and the fan. The thin oil system filters and cools oil on a closed loop. Rollers and the grinding ring are replaced as a wear set when output drops.

Price depends on model, capacity, target fineness, motor power and the equipment in the line, including the jaw crusher, elevator, feeder, cyclone collector and dust collector. Send your material, feed size and target mesh for a quotation.
