YGM High Pressure Medium Speed Grinding Mill for Mineral Powder Processing

◎The YGM High Pressure Medium Speed Grinding Mill is an efficient mineral grinding machine designed for fine powder production. It is suitable for processing non-flammable and non-explosive materials with a Mohs hardness below 7 and moisture content below 6%.

◎Common materials include limestone, calcite, quartz, dolomite, marble, granite, bauxite, iron ore, coal, and coal gangue. The YGM grinding mill uses high-pressure grinding rollers and a grinding ring to reduce material size and produce fine mineral powder. It is widely used in mining, building materials, chemical processing, and industrial powder production.

◎As a high pressure grinding mill, Raymond mill alternative, and mineral powder grinding machine, it offers a practical solution for customers seeking reliable equipment for limestone powder production, calcite grinding, and dolomite processing. The final powder fineness and production capacity depend on the raw material, feed size, moisture content, and equipment configuration.

◎With a robust structure, stable operation, and convenient maintenance, the YGM series provides an economical choice for mineral grinding plants and powder processing projects.

YGM High Pressure Grinding Mill

High Pressure Powder Mill

Spring-loaded rollers lift grinding force 1.2 times. This high pressure grinding mill yields 20-30% more powder output.

YGM High Pressure Grinding Mill

Adjustable Mesh Fineness

Set the classifier to change fineness from 0.613 mm to 0.033 mm. One grinding mill can cover 30 to 425 mesh fine powder.

YGM High Pressure Grinding Mill

Grinds 280+ Mineral Types

It grinds 280+ minerals, including limestone, gypsum, barite and kaolin, at Mohs hardness under 9.3 and moisture under 6%.

YGM High Pressure Grinding Mill

Low Dust, Closed Circuit

Air carries powder to a classifier and cyclone collector in a closed circuit. The dust collector keeps emissions low.

Compact Powder Line Setup

A compact layout with matched equipment lets this mill run as a full powder line on a small footprint, replacing a ball mill.

High Pressure Grinding Mill: 3 Reasons to Choose

When buyers compare a high pressure grinding mill, they look at output, fineness range and service. Here is what sets our YGM mill apart.

◎ More Powder at the Same Motor Power

Spring-loaded rollers lift grinding force about 1.2 times, so this high pressure grinding mill yields 20-30% more powder than a standard raymond mill at equal power. The spring holds pressure as the rollers wear, so output stays steady over long runs.

◎ One Mill, Many Powder Grades

Set the classifier, and fineness moves from 0.613 mm to 0.033 mm, about 30 to 425 mesh. One grinding mill then covers several powder grades. Limestone, gypsum and barite producers run one machine instead of buying a second mill for a finer cut.

◎ Complete Powder Line, One Supplier

We supply the mill with its matched feeder, classifier, cyclone collector, dust collector and air ducts, so the unit runs as a complete powder

High Pressure Grinding Mill Working Principle

◎Feed material enters the mill from the hopper, usually through a vibrating feeder that keeps the flow steady. The feed is pre-crushed rock, normally under 35 mm. Inside the grinding chamber, a scraper blade lifts the material into the gap between the grinding rollers and the grinding ring.

◎The rollers turn around the main shaft. A high-pressure spring presses each roller against the grinding ring, lifting grinding force about 1.2 times. The material is crushed and ground into fine powder between the roller and the ring. A blower pushes air through the mill body. The air stream lifts the powder into the classifier on top of the mill.

◎Coarse particles fall back into the grinding chamber and are reground. Fine powder passes through with the air stream. The mixture then enters the cyclone collector. The powder drops to the bottom and leaves through the discharge valve as finished product. Remaining fine dust goes to the dust collector, where filter bags trap it. Clean air is released.

◎The whole circuit is closed, so dust stays inside the system. Final fineness is set on the classifier. It changes the powder grade from 0.613 mm to 0.033 mm, about 30 to 425 mesh. One high pressure grinding mill covers several powder specifications.

◎When output drops or the grade drifts, tighten the high-pressure spring to restore grinding force. Grinding rollers, the grinding ring and the scraper blade wear with running hours and are replaced as a set.

Common Problems

This section is designed to address the most pressing inquiries customers may have regarding the daily operation, maintenance, product advantages, and after-sales service of our machine. Our aim is to help you gain a comprehensive understanding of our overall capabilities and enable you to make informed decisions for your projects.

In medium and fine grinding, yes. A high pressure grinding mill gives a simpler flowsheet, fewer auxiliary machines and a smaller footprint than a ball mill. It suits dry non-metallic minerals. For very hard or high-moisture ore, a ball mill still fits better.

Feed size depends on the model. Most YGM mills take pre-crushed material under 35 mm. Larger rock goes through a jaw crusher or impact crusher first. Once the material is under the feed limit, it drops into the grinding chamber and is ground between the rollers and the grinding ring.

A YGM high pressure grinding mill is a raymond mill with a high-pressure spring on the roller assembly. The spring lifts grinding force about 1.2 times. That gives 20-30% more output at equal power, and output holds steady as the rollers wear.

Output depends on model, feed size and target mesh. At the same motor power, a high pressure grinding mill yields 20-30% more powder than a standard raymond mill. Spring-loaded rollers add grinding force, so fewer machines handle the same tonnage. Send your material and target mesh for a matched model and capacity.

Finished fineness runs from 0.613 mm to 0.033 mm, about 30 to 425 mesh. You set the grade on the classifier, so one YGM grinding mill covers several powder specifications. Coarse and fine powder come off the same machine, and a grade change is a classifier setting.

It grinds more than 280 non-flammable minerals with Mohs hardness under 9.3 and moisture under 6%. Common materials are limestone, gypsum, barite, calcite, marble, dolomite, kaolin, bentonite, talc and quartz. It works in mining, metallurgy, chemical, cement, refractory and ceramic plants.

Price depends on model, capacity, mesh grade, motor power and the auxiliary equipment in the set. A mill on its own costs less than a complete powder production line with feeder, classifier, cyclone collector and dust collector. Send your material, feed size and target mesh for a quotation.

Routine checks cover lubrication, roller and grinding ring wear, and the classifier setting. The roller assembly uses overlapping multi-stage seals, so dust stays out of the bearings. When the rollers wear, tighten the high-pressure spring to restore grinding force.
