◎The PE series jaw crusher is a commonly used crushing equipment in mining and construction. It can work alone or integrate with mineral processing and sand production lines. It is widely used in stone crushing, sand making, mineral processing, and grinding operations.

Working Principle of Jaw Crusher: Reciprocating Mechanical Compression

The primary jaw crusher machine operates on a proven "crank-driven extrusion" principle utilizing a periodic mechanical motion cycle. Driven by an electric motor via heavy-duty V-belts and pulleys, the high-precision eccentric shaft converts continuous rotation into the reciprocating motion of the moving jaw assembly.

◎High-Force Crushing Phase: As the moving jaw advances toward the fixed jaw plate, the toggle plate angle increases, reducing the internal crushing chamber volume. The feed material experiences three simultaneous mechanical forces—direct compressive force, inter-particle grinding, and high-impact shearing from the tooth-shaped jaw liners. This intense multi-directional force rapidly breaks hard ores and abrasive rocks down to targeted sizes.

◎Gravitational Discharging Phase: When the moving jaw recedes, the toggle plate angle decreases, and a heavy-duty tension rod and spring mechanism returns the jaw to its initial position. This widens the bottom discharge opening, allowing fully crushed aggregate or mineral ore to discharge smoothly by gravity.

◎Continuous High-Capacity Production: This synchronized compression and discharge sequence repeats continuously during motor operation. Fresh material enters from the top feed hopper, enabling unbroken, continuous material processing for heavy-duty primary crushing in mining, quarrying, and aggregate production lines.
