Introduction to Three Cavity Types of Hydraulic Cone Crusher

The cavity design of hydraulic cone crushers primarily utilizes the "laminated crushing principle." By optimizing the crushing cavity and motion parameters, it achieves highly efficient crushing and cubic material output. Different models of hydraulic cone crushers are equipped with a variety of cavity types to meet different process requirements:
 

1. Standard Cavity. Suitable for crushing medium to hard materials, it provides a high reduction ratio and good product particle size control.

2. Short Head Cavity. Suitable for crushing hard and abrasive materials. The short head cavity has a shorter crushing cone and a smaller discharge opening, providing higher crushing force and a finer product particle size.

3. Medium Cavity. This cavity lies between the standard and short head cavities and is suitable for crushing medium-hard and medium-abrasive materials.
